I´m writing this article today in accordance to some tragic events happening in my life recently and this made me want to understand the warning-signs of death or of cross-overs, however you want to put it. So here it comes and I´d like to add that these are only my own studies and this is what I´ve seen in some charts, but I´ve also found that these exact pointers might not be true for all deaths. But because I feel these pointers make some sense I am going to share them.
So let´s start!
Cards involved: Seven of Spades, Seven of Diamonds, King of Spades, Ace of Spades and Nine of Spades. I would like to add that in some cases also 8 of Clubs(related to Neptune/fixed).
Other potential planets/factors: Neptune/Queen(changing form like Vishnu), Mars(blood, accidents, cuts), Pluto/Kings(power of Shiva) and Saturn(Destruction).
- These cards(as stated above) holding the Ascendant(First Cusp) and the Ecliptic(Tenth Cusp) in the current Year-Spread(“Age-spread”) can show death. This criteria should “preferably” be truely fulfilled in the spread of D1 of the age-spread but also in D60 chart spread of same age as well( for example with the planetary exchanges and so on).
- Or having some of these cards running(like King of Spades) as being one of the cards in the Quadrated 7-year-Spread(or having these linked with each other in the spread via planetary exchange) may also be the indication of upcoming transition(but also it might not! My sister got pregnant of the year of King of Spades in the 7- year spread. Thus initiating long term permanent (positive!) changes).
- Or BOTH above described
- Also keep an eye on Neptune, because it might show the time of transition (like running the card holding Neptune (and also holding/planetary correlating Seven of Spades or King of spades AND the ecliptic!) might trigger it.
Note that these spreads are calculated by Kala Software(read more: https://vedic-astrology.net/kala/Kala-Software.asp). Or try the free cards of truth spread creator here: https://cardsoftruth.com/spread-creator .
Explaining the Sevens
Sevens are important in deaths because they are symbolizing the destruction of something. The reason why Seven of Hearts is not included on my list is because it is more that of the destruction of the sweetness of life/ a relationship or a heart break. In a death situation this card is more likely indicating a person being exposed to death, rather than dying and having a lot of grief. So if Seven of Hearts is running it is indicating grief, loss and sorrow that needs to be dealt with in order to get out of feeling like a victim in the world and it might include deaths in the form of a relational break-ups or in that of having lost someone close to death(this might not always either be the case it is just the general meaning of the card. I meet my first boyfriend running this card on the Jupiter position so it might be a good card as well!).
Also why Seven of Clubs is not mentioned as a possible card of death is because it is rather indicating a break up/death from a Job/ an old inspiration that has for far too long become uninspiring and dull, so it would rather activate a time to leave some project or workplace that is no longer a part of your path of inspiration. So it is neither, like the Seven of Hearts, so much involved with the actual Body or it´s Physical existence/survival.
Thus leaving the Spades and Diamonds the most associated to actual physical living, like Spades showing the most primal basic needs being meet(having life-spark, food, a well functioning body/psyche etc.) while Diamonds can show an excelled body(like being muscular, being skilled at concrete things, being gifted with talents and having intelligence) but also, most importantly Diamonds show that which we value the most in our lives. Diamonds have the shape of a stabile, secure and grounded square. Meaning that when destruction(7) comes the security of our valuables gets destroyed!
So what is the most valuable thing we own? Yes, it is our physical bodies of course! It´s the most valuable thing we can ever have. It´s like they say that nothing is worth anything if you do not have health(which is oh, so true!). Hence we can understand that both Seven of Spades and Seven of Diamonds can be threats to our physical survival.
Explaining the Spades
The King of Spades is one of the three fixed cards and it is the ultimate symbol of Shiva in the card deck(destructive force). The other two fixed cards are Jack of Hearts, portraying the ultimate power of Brahma/the creator and the 8 of Clubs portraying the ultimate power of Vishnu/the omnipresence(the circle of life). The King of Spades relate to death through being associated with 7, 8 and 9 of Spades – 7 of Spades, as earlier spoken of, is about destruction of the body or health, 8 of spades is about doing an inner journey, reassessing and Nine of Spades is about surrendering to one´s life´s work, or “giving up” to our life´s work. Nine of Spades also symbolize a dead uprooted tree.
So Death is indicated here and King of Spades is making permanent changes, like all the other fixed cards mentioned and in his case he is destroying limitations of the physical body and of the psychological mind. So permanent changes that might break you free and change you forever is indicated by King of Spades. Why I also consider Ace of Spades is because death is helping us to become a totally new “I”, by going really deep inside we experience a new sense of “I”. This is also a part of the death experience. I have seen Ace of Spades show up some times now and I think it is pretty relevant to the question of death since it is also said to be the most occult card in the deck.
Some interests go to Pluto, which is always associated to the Kings and as we all know Pluto is a destroyer of the ego. Some major interests for me go to Neptune. It might play a part in crossing over since Energy is never dying but instead is in constant motion – ever changing form – like our bodies when we die, they become soil and when we leave over physical lives our consciousness still exist but in another form- Ultimately we don´t die we just change forms! And Neptune/Vishnu represents that truth/deep bond to the world.
Ace of Spades, Seven of Spades, Nine of Spades, King of Spades and Seven of Diamonds ———-> When more of these show up in a year spread(especially the bold ones) and some of these having associations to each other and also holding both the First and Tenth Cusp there might very well be a sign of a cross-over happening! But it might as well only indicate a difficult year. The difference between the two might show in D60(if same or different pattern).
If you see these cards showing up prominently in your own or in another´s spread please encourage healthy living and taking care of the body and the mind(lovingly), regardless the end result(an upcoming cross-over or not).
Thank you for reading and I send my love to all of you who like me are going through a 7 of Hearts-period of losing someone very dear to their new adventures!
For all the grieving ones, I hereby present you Mary Elizabeth Frye´s beautiful poem on the subject of letting go:
“Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush
I am the swift uplifting rush.
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.”
